Who hasn't heard of that senior who always boasts about his grades, or gets down to preach about the essential qualities required to ace an exam like NEET? We all must have encountered that one guy or girl, who has that smug look on the face during our IIT coaching in Delhi. The one who scores the highest in all the test series, mock tests, full length tests etc etc.
Everyone praises such students who enrol in the respective TGT coaching, and gets the required grades in all the mock tests. Even SUCCESS MANTRA’s teaching faculty have observed such students in their NEET coaching classes in Delhi. Such students never miss out on any lecture and forever are the toppers of all the mock tests series.
But then when it comes to the actual exam, most often than not, many of such students are found to not score the marks they are potential of. What is the reason behind this?
Well, the individual reasons for their performance can be best given only by the respective students. But as we enquired further, we found out that many of such students get comforted by the four walls of the classroom and like to compete only with the peers who are confined with them. They miss out on the fact that there is an altogether big world outside the classroom , where the real competition lies. Such students who take the comforts of having scored the highest within their classroom must not forget about the stiff competition which is awaiting them. Hence they must always be vigilant and keep a track of their performance in relative to others. It is absolutely true that the real competition is with oneself. But it is also necessary that one gets hold of the reality which awaits them on the D-Day. So it is very necessary that such students never lose sight of their progress and keep up their stride. Good Luck!
